Dry ice is frozen CO₂ at −109°F. On impact it lifts contaminant off the surface, then turns straight from solid to gas and disappears. The only thing left to sweep up is the dirt that was already there.

Pick your worst surface. We bring the machine out, blast a patch of it, and you see the result in about 30 minutes. No charge, no obligation. This is how nearly every dry ice job gets sold, because photos of someone else's equipment prove nothing about yours.

You get a fixed quote

After the demo we walk the scope and send a written price — dry ice, compressed air, labor and disposal all included. If the job needs a shutdown window, a confined-space permit or a lockout procedure, that is in the quote too.

We work around your schedule

Most plant cleaning happens on nights, weekends and shutdown days. We plan around your production calendar, mask and contain the area, monitor CO₂ throughout, and leave the space swept and ready to run.

Dry ice blasting is loud, cold, and releases CO₂ — which is heavier than air and pools in low spaces. Handled properly it is one of the safest cleaning methods on a plant floor. We treat that seriously, and we bring the paperwork your EHS manager will ask for.

Insurance
General liability, commercial auto and equipment coverage. Certificates and additional-insured endorsements issued on request before we mobilize.
Air monitoring
Continuous CO₂ and oxygen monitoring on every job, with forced ventilation in enclosed areas. We stop work before levels approach the OSHA limit.
Hearing
Dual hearing protection for our crew and clear exclusion zones for yours. Blasting regularly exceeds 120 dB.
Lockout
We follow your LOTO program, not ours. Nothing gets cleaned until the equipment is isolated and verified with your team.
Training
OSHA-trained operators with manufacturer equipment certification and written hazard communication and confined-space procedures.
Questions

What plant managers ask us first.

Will it damage my equipment?
Dry ice is non-abrasive. Pellets are soft and sublimate on impact, so they lift contaminant without cutting into the substrate underneath. That is why it is used on injection molds and historic brick, where sand would destroy the surface. On very soft or already-failing coatings we test first during the demo.
Can you clean electrical equipment?
Yes. CO₂ is non-conductive and the process is completely dry, which is the main reason plants use it on motors, drives, panels and switchgear. We still follow your lockout/tagout program and isolate anything that needs isolating before we start.
Do we have to shut down production?
Often not. A lot of dry ice work is done in place and even hot — molds get cleaned in-press, ovens while still warm. When a shutdown is required, we schedule into your existing maintenance window rather than asking for a new one.
What does it cost compared to what we do now?
Per hour, dry ice blasting costs more than a pressure washer. Per job it is often less, because there is no disassembly, no drying time, no wastewater to capture and dispose of, and no spent media to haul away. The demo is the fastest way to find out which is true for your equipment.
Is there anything dry ice is not good for?
Yes, and we will tell you. Heavy rust and thick mill scale usually need an abrasive method — dry ice will be slow and expensive on those. It also needs line of sight, so deeply blind passages are a poor fit. If your job is one of these, we will say so at the demo instead of selling you a bad result.
How far do you travel?
We cover roughly 50 miles from Raleigh, which includes Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, RTP, Apex, Garner, Clayton, Wake Forest, Sanford and Smithfield. We do go further for multi-day work — just ask.
